Through the repetition and branching of a module, built on the dimensions of man,  the project aims at the physical re-appropriation of the church space, not only at the  planimetric level but also in height, so as to guarantee the entry of new functions and the possibility to enjoy new perspectives. The new structure, while maintaining an attitude of respect towards the container, slightly deviating from it, allows the physical approach of the users to everythingthat is not immediate in an overall view, favoring a greater awareness of the historical and artistic value of the church. These were the key principles on which the design idea aimed at redeveloping and re-appropriating the interior spaces of the church of the former Fontevivo convent was based, favoring the entry of new possibilities and functions.
